The game is really good the story of the side characters are really well write references to other animes are equally good, but i think story of the protagonist could be more deeper beacuse there is nothing that makes the protagonist special or interesting (He uses katana and this is cool... but thats all) But if protagonist had a second personality it could add depth to the character. For example his conflict with himself such as the releationship between Ichigo and Hollow Zangetsu from the Bleach, this could be interesting plot such as the concept of two souls in one body
Or simply Yuji and Sukuna can be given as examples,what I mean is that protagonist alter ego could be colder, manipulative and merciless instead of warm, compassionate and respectful like protagonist (Like opposite side of protagonist) and instead of having fun with girls and forgetting the past like protagonist, alter ego's main goal could be to find his mother (Cuz they are lowkey same but different personalities) and he can be someone who can do anything to reach his purpose and that could make for an interesting plot.
(The reason i came up with this idea in particular is to see how protagonist will deal with this situation, and its cool concept lol)
Protagonist can go to another place or village to contol his alter ego and have someone there teach him how to control this side or smth (And that means new girls and new story arc)
