I went to the bazaar after speaking with the Bunny girl and visiting the casino floor. I believe you need to talk to her first and then take action regarding the old book. Once you unlock the old book, you will need to go to the bazaar to obtain it. That's how I gained so much height while using a much weaker version of my Madman Gambit.
I believe I was using zombies decay and another card involving a demon pack i'm not for sure it's been a bit college stuff mostly keeping away from the game
