I have a vive so i'm not 100% sure if it's the same, but in SteamVR i'm pretty sure you can open up your desktop screen, navigate to the exe file for this game and run it from there. If it works the same, then it should recognise "oh, this is a VR program" and transition you from the SteamVR home to the game
