Hello! I really appreciate your work in creating this game and developing it on to even better resemble the sport we all love. I have some suggestions for developing the game forward that I think would enhance the gaming experience even more.
1. More realistic skiing performances: In my opinion there needs to be more variation on skiing performances for each athlete in both single races and careers. If you look at the real life biathlon results, there is often different biathletes finishing on top of the ski times leaderboard. One way to achieve this could be to impelement "race day condition" parameter for every race. This value could for example be between -5 and +5 and affect only the athletes skiing stats. There could also be an option in the settings to choose the interval for possible race day condition.
2. Shooting speed: At the moment the shooting speed stat has no effect for non AI biathletes. Could be fixed so that faster the shooting speed, faster the athlete gets ready for shooting? Maybe for example for 100 rated shooting speed, time between stopping the skiing before shooting and being ready for the shooting could be on average 1.5 seconds and for 70 shooting speed on average 4 seconds? I think this change would make the shooting speed stat more relevant especially in career mode. I would also like to see prone and standing shooting speed stat divided to more realistically picture each athletes skillset. As for skiing, there could also be more variance in AI shooting speed of each athlete between each shooting.
3. Rework of the mass start format: At the moment athlets starting near the front of the pack have an advantage of several seconds before the race has even begun. Could it be possible to make the biathletes start closer to each other to minimise the timegap between front and the back of the pack?
I understand that it's a long process to make these kind of changes and you probably have several new ideas yourself that you want to develop further. Neverthless, I would love to see some of these ideas implemented to the game.
