Hmm,to be honest I get why your respond like this, but that doesn't make it any less disheartening.
Your stories, just like the dozens upon dozens on itch.io alone are a passion project first and foremost, and you sharing them in the first place is not only something every reader is grateful for, but something I really respect. It takes a great bit of courage and no one can ever deny that.
HOWEVER
As a reader it is frustrating to see the story progress backwards even if what little remains is an improvement across the board. And while I sympathise with your struggles, I am not going to lie to your face and pretend like I care, not due to any malice, but simply because at the end of the day, I don't know you π«€
Address the "shade" if you will, but I mean when I said that I am genuinely excited for the changes and can't wait to see where you take your story. The setting is exciting and I hope to one day see the final product.
