Honestly, I absolutely LOVE the RPG genre and if I'm being honest? While a LOT of AVN's and such have the inspiration and settings perfect for RPG elements? Most of the great ones don't implement them and that makes me tremendously sad! I feel like there is a HUGE market for Adult RPGs or ARPG's so to speak, and no one is capitalizing! I've seen a lot of side-scrollers, a lot of basic arcade-style game, and a lot of dialogue based but I feel like a genuine ARPG is what the Adult Gaming sphere is actually missing so I'm in full support of it!
For clarification, the mechanics I vastly enjoy:
- Open-world/sandbox
- Allocating stat points that affect interactions/actions throughout the story in different ways
- Items that change your stats/elicit different reactions based on what you have equipped
- Any and all forms of character customization
- Player agency with how they want to approach the plot(s)!
