Relative to some many other characters, yeah, obscure. She's not on the top of the list for new fighters, especially since she's another Mario fighter.

Simple, those characters introduce new franchises. Rosalina, however, is just another Mario character.

you got a point, people want to try new characters with new gimmick if not then the game would be boring just imagine if the game had the same ssbu characters with the same moveset and same everything except it's 2d that would be boring and nintendo would whip the devolopers'asses
