I have already paid for the game 3 times. Why do i have to spend another 20?

Same here. It would make no sense to have to pay 20 again.
So if you go into "my library" in itch and find the game in your library it will take you to the download page without needing to pay. Inconvenient, but that is how you don't keep paying for the game, because you don't need to.
I did that but it won't have the updated version in it.
