Be sure if you finish this plugin then it will be very popular. I think a lot of people want to have on construct something similar to Pro Camera2d on Unity
I agree, there's not many options to create a flexible camera. I'm currently waiting for scirra to solve a couple of bugs that completely broke the camera plugin to keep it alive. As soon as I'm done with SmartUI, I'll get back to evaluate the camera plugin.
