They posted on their YouTube channel changelog for version beta-8.
Basically they changed some maps to be more accurate in terms of length, so the tracks have 3 layouts (if I remember correctly) depending on the type of race.
Although, they only managed to do it for like three tracks so in version beta-8 they disabled carrer mode - it wouldn't make sense to have carrer with only three track
