I found this game to be surprising on how much effort and care went into its presentation, both in terms of horror and as a legitimate RPG/Puzzle hybrid. I got stumped on a part or two. :p I really don't have many expectations when downloading random itch.io games, but this one genuinely holds up as a good piece of art, I think. I really hope you someday get the opportunity and time to create more games or whatever it is you want to make, because I think you have a real talent for it. Also, I see you linked my video in the comments below a year ago, and I am very flattered.
Sorry for the super late response. Real life just wouldn't stop happening lul. But thanks for the kind words! And hell yeah dude, thank you so much for making that video back in the day!! I even sent it to a friend recently when they gave the game a shot, so they wouldn't get lost. I really love channels like yours that explore some more obscure indie stuff. And honestly hats off to you that you gave the effort to solve this dumb puzzle without any sort of guidance, considering how there was literally no info on the game online lol.
And yea, I've been working on a way bigger and uh way more stupid (non-horror) game for a while. Still RPG Maker 2k3 stuff. It'll be a while til it's done tho... But it's gonna be lit yo, I promise ("ಠ︵ಠ)/)
Hey! I left a rather long comment on here a while ago, trying to pick apart the story of your game and lauding you for how unexpectedly great and memorable it was. I still think about it from time to time, and whenever it pops into my mind from out of the blue, I like to come back to this page to read my comment, because I was always touched by how you replied by saying that comments like mine mean the world to you and motivate you to keep pursuing your passions. That always left an impact on me, knowing how meaningful and connective it is to learn that somewhere in the world, people you don't even know made the effort to understand your vision because your work and ideas affected them in a real way, being given the certainty that what you made warrants analysis and emotional attachment to people other than yourself. It makes the world feel warmer and smaller, less lonely, for me anyways.
Today was one of those days where I remembered your game and decided to check out the page on a whim, and I'm so glad to learn that, despite life, you're still out here working on that new game, creating the art that's important to you. Here's hoping I'll get to play it one day. Have a good one.
