This was a really nice fan game.
Really nailed down the vibes of those games with less of the gratuitous shock value. (More of the lighthearted/charming side) But still has some of that edge, mainly in Toru. (The Terminally Online and Irony Poisoned figure :p)
Only inserting the heavy material during the tense moments (I.E. climax withe Ren) where it has much more impact since it hasn't been devalued throughout the whole game like how Mogeko Castle went ham, spamming it all the time.
Appreciated the callbacks to the character's lore:
- Mikari accused for being a cannibal. (Her supposed role in Carnival Rhythm)
- Crow. The hidden character associated with Kcalb in The Grey Garden
- Met when she was alive. I knew I've seen the eyes of a DJ and Biker before :p
While these portrayal probably don't match what DSP had in mind (though I'm guessing there's not a ton of public/developed info about them), these are nice, simple and enjoyable incarnations of them. You really brought life to them and for the time being, this is how I'm gonna see them.
(Also knew Ren was gonna be evil from the start lol)

CONCERNEDLY the main thing would be the stories, all of which are shuffled in the style of funa in this game. in my ideal type the characters' stories would be separated from each other with the player being able to choose which one to watch. for example if the player wanted to watch Nakata's drama there would be 1 option, Mikari, Ringo and Ren another.
But anyway, the name of my new game is ''Famine in wonderland'' I'm very proud of my new game and I hope people like it.
