Hey I played your demo and am putting it on YouTube!

It's an adorable game, but I wanted to focus on issues I had here. First is that the dialogue went by way too fast a lot of the time. You can watch me try to voice the lines and they move on without me pressing anything or finishing the lines.

Second is the underwater affect on music. It's a really cool effect, but especially noticeable on the louder songs, it raises the volume of the songs even further. At one point the music peaked my headphones, but only when the underwater effect was active.

Third, opening the skill tree with "K" didn't seem work for me at the start of the game making me think the skill tree wasn't implemented. (It seems to work now, so maybe I was just pressing the wrong button?)

Oh, and Shift to toggle Run isn't mentioned in the controls above.

Anyways, very cool game! I especially loved the music and artstyle! Good luck with development!

Thank you for your feedback! It's hard to get a volume setting that works well for everyone, but in the settings you can control how loud things are - there's even a separate slider for the music volume to avoid problems for people with louder headphones! :D

Thank you for your response!

I wanted to clarify the problem I was having with the music volume. The music volume was great for most of the game. It was only when going underwater that I had trouble with some of the louder songs.

Here's a screenshot of ~7 minutes of my video's audio. The white horizontal line represents a good level of volume and you can see that most of the audio stays within that. Every single spike above the white line you see is when the camera went underwater. That's a more than 2x increase in volume in some cases!

I could adjust the music slider in the settings to get good underwater volume, but then I would barely be able to hear the music when above water.

I hope this clarifies the issue I had. I hope for all the best for you and your team.

(Edit: I just wanted to note that in the videos I posted on YouTube, I already edited all of the volume spikes to be under the white horizontal line before posting, so you won't be able to notice as big of a difference if you watch the videos)

I see what you mean, that is something we'll definitely look into. We're finally cooperating with a proper sound designer now, so these things should get a lot smoother!
