I’ve recently found a new job.
On a serious note, the issue is that, in its current state, the game is more of a skeleton — or a glimpse of a possible game. It needs a lot more substance. That means quite a lot of work and time spent on this project.
Instead, I’m currently focused on testing other game ideas that are smaller in scope and more casual. They aren’t directly related to this project, but I see them as stepping stones toward the goal of creating a bigger “dream game” anyways.
The good news is that some exploratory work has also been done that I haven’t written about. However, there’s still a lot of design work to be completed. So… we’ll see how it turns out over the next year!
