Maybe I'm the only one who doesn't enjoy the romance in this story. I mean, what the MC is going through is horrific. I only want revenge and to make everyone in that castle miserable, especially the King and Lancelot. I'm rooting for you; you know well about our MC's past, but what the ****?! How can he do that? Don't give crap about being in love. Nah, the same King who constantly reminds us that he dearly loves his wife decides to move on. What a joke. What he is doing behind our backs—dating our worst enemy—the betrayal is really cut deep, because I feel he is the only character who is supportive towards our MC. Sorry for the rambling. I mean, it's a good story and have potential, but still, I hope the MC can take a break 😕

I'm trying to figure out why my character keeps coming off after several tries in one part of story as having forgotten vengence when I want him to still want it. Just not for stupid minor things others done. But the murder and destruction of his family and life and being forced into a position he didn't really want and serves the one he hates
