Hey! My experience is insanely similar to yours, including the end of semester projects, working alone, and learning more about 2D animation from this. It was pretty hard to get a final product put together, especially because most of my experience has been using other game engines.

However, I think I'm somehow pretty happy with how it all went because I still had fun and learned so much about pixel art, animation, and music from this experience. No matter the final outcome, I think a major point of game jams is learning, and it sounds like you totally learned some new things! I really like the setting and calming music in your game, plus the art all has a relaxing tone to it that I liked a lot too.

Hi! Thanks for your comment!

I definately learned a few new things and brushed up on the things I'd forgotten. I work a lot with Unity as part of my education, but sadly we do not learn about pixel art, music or just the creative aspect at all. We are taught the technical aspects of creating games and how to market them, so I'm a bit on the fence on if what I made is good or bad in terms of both the technical and creative aspects.

It's really nice to see someone who also work under the same conditions, and that there's an outcome even though we're busy with other stuff. Thank you very much for your feedback too, and have a nice Jam!
