Are you using windows? it should appear on your screen after launching the application.
edit: I'm about to post an update. it might fix your issue

Weird! It doesn’t have a black box for any other users I’ve talked to.
Edit: It'll be a bit, but check again when the next update happens in a couple days. might be fixed.
