This was made for ScoreSpace jam (that's why I put the leaderboards in). The jam was roughly on my first anniversary of unity development, so I figured it would be fun to remake the first game I ever created in unity.
1. Yeah, the menu didn't get much love. I sort of made it as a placeholder, and then focused on gameplay, bugfixing and such, so it didn't change since the first iteration.
2. Pro tip- once in a while you'll notice a long line of money. They become longer the longer you play. That's where the REAL points are :)
3. That's true. I noticed that during the development, but decided to leave it. I liked how it added to the chaos :)
4. Yes- I think it's due to a bug when generating the money lines. The game ends up trying to fire a ton of scripts (one for every money pile) in a single frame.
5. The upgrade shop would be really nice if I wanted to spin this game into a larger project (I briefly thought about it- with levels that had slightly different rules). For this jam though, I wanted to keep it simple- lots of jammers try to implement lots of mechanics in short time, and end up spreading themselves thin.
6. You got me here- I almost never spend any time on pages (not counting capturing gameplay gifs).
Thanks for playing, and even more thanks for leaving feedback!
