Gods can indeed die, and the concept of "forever" is a bit fickle because to know for sure that something is eternal, you must have reached the end of eternity—or at least, that is how I view it. It is difficult to ascertain if there is anything that truly lasts forever, even the mortal spirit and even death. Is death permanent? Can we be certain anything is? That seems difficult to know for sure!
There is nothing stupid about your musings! It is very interesting to know your thoughts on it. You shared your thoughts because it was worth sharing and because you cared about the game, and that comes through! Thank you so much for all the love and praise for the IF!
