Hi! I had the same problem but I managed to make it work. You have to copy the app to your apps folder and then run this command in the terminal:
chmod +x /Applications/LateLaundry_MacV1_2.app/Contents/MacOS/Late\ Laundry
Basically what this does is give executable permissions to the executable file inside the .app
