Mha drags on for too long to the point where I actually stopped watching because I got incredibly sick and tired of these guys. Arcs that drag on for too long and I know a big complaint with lots of shows is that they have too many filler episodes, well mha doesn't have enough filler episodes, okay. I'm sick of it, alright. I want a break from the main plot but it just keeps coming back and I want it to end, like actively I do not want to watch anymore.

It's always the same it's literally the same. Big evil bad guy doing bad things, oh no, we have to stop him, Deku is going through some sort of emotional conflict, Katsuki is going through some sort of emotional conflict, Todoroki is going through some sort of emotional conflict, Uraraka is girl, and everyone else is just there. Maybe you'll get some sort of mentor type guiding quote from All Might or Aizawa, maybe a background character will get like two scenes of character development, otherwise, they really are simply just there, and it was fun, you know, I was enjoying it, but it gets a little boring after three seasons. Maybe it's time to pack it up, guys. I think we've had enough.

but, we have seen a lot of character development in each character! they did a really good ending in my opinion, and every episode mattered, even the movies-(~~I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU I JUST NEED TO FIGURE OUT THIS 🤣🤣🤣)~~-we would have never found out who the traitor was if it wasn’t thank to the UA camp, all the battle scenes, or the silly episodes in between. we can never really say how the show would be without so many episodes, because we just won’t ever get that

the multiple seasons and character development really helped with the ending as well. katsuki isn’t that big of an asshole anymore and todoroki is slowly trying to find out what’s wrong 😭, deku is also trying to figure his things out…

I'll just rewrite it

You say that each character had lots of character development but I dare you to tell me this guy's name without searching it up at all.

each character got character development, no? So surely he must have something notable about him. Notable enough that the very very least you could possibly do is just... remember his name.

I have no clue what his name is, I literally had to search up "class 1-A" to find this guy because I literally haven't the slightest idea what his name could possibly be.

Mha has so many episodes yet with so many episodes there are still characters that are neglected for the most part, characters that shine for five seconds before they're thrown back into the dark corner they came from again.

Every battle was three entire episodes long, the pacing is so trash that I want to gouge my eyes out. To put it simply, most of the episodes are padded. Padded with so much stuff so each season can go on for the 20+ episodes needed. You think it's over then they add something else. They dedicate so much time to trying to stretch storylines out for as long as possible that they forget they have characters that are basically just cardboard cutouts. Maybe mha just bit off more than they could chew.

The UA camp arc would've been great if the battle, no, not even any of the regular degular story stuff, no, no, no, THE BATTLE didn't last for, what was that? FOUR TO FIVE EPISODES. Wow, such a short arc amirite.

They really just couldn't figure out how to get each arc to last long enough to fill out their run time so they padded out all the battles and padded and padded until there was no room left for anything else other than the padding.

And yeah of course deku, todoroki, and katsuki have had character growth because they're the only characters the show actually cares about. They're the only characters with anything to them that isn't just scraps the people behind the show strung together to try and make their cardboard cutouts look less like cardboard cutouts.

It gets tiring okay. Three episode long battles and barely any attention put on anyone who isn't one of the main three gets tiring. There's an easier way to pad things out, they're called filler episodes, either that or actually caring about your background characters.

Random but related question, have you watched Black Clover?

I haven't finished it either 😭

Anyway you totally should because Black Clover does everything MHA does wrong right.

Both shows have a big cast of characters

With mha I could not tell you the name of any of them that aren't main characters if I tried and even if I could they all have about the personality of a blank sheet of paper.

With Black Clover, I can name every character in the Black Bulls right now. Asta, Yami, Vanessa, Luck, Gordon, Grey, Finral, Gauche, Noelle, Charmy, Magna, and characters that would be spoilers if I said their names. I can also name: Nozel, Mereleona, Leopold, Fuegoleon, Mimosa, Langris, William, Julius, Klaus, Charlotte, Dorothy, Jack the Ripper (I'm serious), Sekke, Lily. And each character has a strong personality and compelling story. I swear to you the entire main cast all has complex and compelling characterization. I could tell you but like I said spoilers. Even though I really want to.

Black Clover has the same multiple episode long battles but it feels earned because they don't give multiple episode long battles to arcs that didn't need it, they give them to main arcs with multiple episode set ups to them. Not two episode long set ups like the UA camp arc. These aren't short arcs they tried to stretch out they're long story arcs that took a proper amount of time for a good payoff.

There is so much that MHA does wrong that Black Clover does right.

Not to say that Black Clover doesn't have it's own host of issues what with the team working on it being really small so the animation is choppy at best, and also they are actually AHEAD of the manga, to the point where, to keep episodes coming weekly, they have a long long list of filler episodes until the next manga entry where they can finally get a few normal episodes before they're ahead of the manga again 😭

But honestly not a single black clover opening that wasn't absolutely amazing. The smoothest animation is in the openings because of the small team so they put a lot of effort into the recurring stuff like openings and endings. Not to mention, the songs are fire. Not a single one I did not vibe to. The openings are seriously so good.

Honestly since Black Clover got a lot more attention as the show went on, the recent movie had quite a bit of funding behind it and a way bigger team so it was really jarring to see such smooth animation from Black Clover. I got used to the choppy animation lmao.

Seriously it's really really good it's my favorite anime and I love it you ahve to watch it

And I've started watching Young Sheldon but never continued

i forgot what season it was but they truly did exceed themselves with fight scenes 😭. like it’s a good show and all, but kidd…hurry up dude ion got all the time in the mf world 😞😭😭
