Having played this game, I can definitely say it was spooky, vague but also intriguing. It was like some kind of dream sequence mixed with Goosebumps. The disclaimer at the beginning was a nice touch. It felt like a throw back to classic Law&Order, back when they used to have disclaimers. The pink sorcerer girl (Madoka Paradise?) gave me Dark Magician Girl vibes from Yugioh. Even though this is a Visual Novel, I feel this has the potential for a great adventure similar to Dragon Quest 8.  Little spoiler here, in DQ8, a character named Dhoulmagus steals a scepter and becomes evil and goes on a quest.  The scepter holds an evil spirit controlling him, revealing there is another antagonist behind the scenes. I believe this doll could be portrayed the same way and have final boss energy along with an in-depth backstory.

Either way, this was a charming short novel.

Thank you!

Considering that the visual novel had to be completed around a month I couldn't expand the story that much, unfortunately.

It also had to be faithful to the visual novel It's based as a requirement of the game jam.

I don't think I'm going to touch this story for a second time in the future but the archetype of the antagonist might become a recurring trait in my works.

Oh, no worries. I understand you were meeting a requirement. I was just providing a thought you could do with it, if you were to continue with this novel in the future, after the game Jam.  However, if the archetype of the antagonist does indeed become a recurring trait in your works, I look forward to checking them out as well. :)
