I stumbled across this game from my purchased bundle list and was instantly pulled in by the disclaimer.. after some pondering i really have to question it tough as a healing potion costs 10G, which is roughly 7 lemons.. which means that a healing potion that can heal all sorts of injuries is worth the same as 7 citruses or 5 phoenix tears hmmm.. we definetly need an epilogue that explains the economics of the potion stand story verse (i agree with the disclaimer's sentiment just thought it funny and strange that one witch con ticket is worth more then 100 healing potions and more then 270 potions at the production price... where even Pot & Ladle might be gauging customers for money 🤔..)

(also Mx developer if the player realizes the strategy to get the coins necessary for Witch-con there's still a (1/3)^20 % chance that they get a roll of 20 monsters sleeping 😂 (in few billion years there'll be a human that didn't get to enjoy the satisfaction of figuring out the strategy for B ending even knowing the rough probabilities of created:sold potions) also if developing cross-platform linux testing can be done from a liveboot or a small VM..)

>    "Passers-by say that the monsters are pretty {b}[monsters]{/b} today." #indeed...
❤️ xD

Amazing, cute little game that’s bound to keep you entertained. The quirky dialogue and charming art style make every interaction delightful. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a few chuckles in an afternoon!

im super late replying to this comment but THANK YOU SO MUCH for playing and appreciating and leaving your kind words about my very silly game. the economics of this universe are indeed... questionable at best ;D

it's been really interesting watching people figure out the prime strategy; it seems like most new players fail their first run and figure it out the second time, which is, imo, the ideal (but not strictly necessary, obviously) path. i made some changes in the DX version so sleepy days hopefully can't completely brutalize people, because in my many playtests over the last year and a half i had some runs where the monsters were apparently just downing entire bottles of melatonin on a daily basis LMAO. frankly it was Hilarious Of Me to have dyscalculia and make a math game. let it never be said that i am a coward.

been having friends test on mac/linux until now, but i'll have to try getting a VM up and running for my next project!! >:)

Your economic analysis is absolutely sending me! The potion pricing really is a fascinating rabbit hole – I think the real scam here is that dungeons are apparently so lucrative that adventurers can casually drop 10G per healing potion without blinking. Meanwhile two broke witches have to hustle for weeks to afford basic transportation. The potion stand proletariat versus the dungeoneering bourgeoisie! And yes, Pot & Ladle's markup practices deserve their own investigation honestly... 😂

"Pot & Ladle's markup practices deserve their own investigation honestly..."

maybe Potion Stand Story 2 should go in more of an Ace Attorney direction... LMAO
