I'm not able to save on mac, a similar issue happened when i was playing cold front and i was hoping it could be patched? so far I love the game, but it's harder to complete it without save files!!
i had this same issue too! when you download the game you'll have to transfer ONLY the game file to applications and once you boot up the game you should be able to save and load and all. hope it works out for ya
Adding to this ^^ if that does not work, simply put the game file back into the folder after putting it into applications, it should look something like the image shown below, and for me personally, this works!
