So there I was, immersed in New Duncking Duck, when my screen went dark. A dreaded message flashed: "New Duncking Duck has shutdown." My virtual life was over. Panic-stricken, I had no choice but to venture outside.

Blinking in the sunlight, I felt the weird sensation of grass under my feet. Worse yet, I encountered real humans. Then, I saw them—females. Nervously, I approached a group.

"Uh, hi," I stammered. "New Duncking Duck?"

They exchanged puzzled looks. One girl, Charo, said, "What's that?"

"It's a game... or it was," I explained. "Now I'm trying to adjust to the outside world."

She laughed. "Join us for frisbee?"

Frisbee? Sounded like a quest. "Sure," I said.

As I fumbled through the game, making a fool of myself, I realized this real-life stuff wasn't so bad. Fresh air, laughter, and Charo's company—it was a different kind of adventure. Maybe touching grass wasn't the end of the world after all.
