I think it's issue on my end. Right now it loads all the textures at startup for simplicity. But the game is getting to be a good size. Need to start dividing everything into smaller texture groups. But I've been holding off because I think that's gonna turn into a bug hunting nightmare.
We're actually uploading a new public version today in about an hour with some stuff moved into texture groups. If you fancy playing the new content feel free to let us know how it works.
