I am trying to fix it, but it's hard when I can't replicate it. If you find the time, it would be an enormous help if you could tell me what the text at the top of the screen says. It should either say "Hills" or "Grinding...".

I just get this screen and doesnt do anything, can click grind but nothing happends

Okay, I think I've solved it.

The game uses cookies to store your save. If you have cookies disabled (or are running in incognito) then it can't make a save file, and you end up stuck like that

Worth a shot? You should be able to just delete itch cookies by searching "third party cookies" in your chrome settings.

This will also delete any cookies being used by other games on itch, but it shouldn't be a problem if you didn't have cookies on before now. If that doesn't work then I guess I gotta keep searching for a solution!

Yea , sad to say it didnt work, i deleted all cookies in the last day and nothing happent, also i had them enabled all the time.

i got same problem.

i see that on the first screen it lists as version Beta0.99989 but the client you download is named MMO Simulator Beta0.99987. i got no clue on stuff like this but maybe this can help.
