CHAPTER ONE

     Ivystar looked at Flameear, nursing her two kits, Flowerkit and Spottedkit.

"Why do they look like that?" she hissed at the queen "BrightClan won't welcome those kits." she lifted her claw, but didn't strike. "We'll give them a chance, BreezeClan has been too annoying, we'll need all the help we might get." she left the nest. "Hi! Who are you? I'm Flowerkit!" she mewed to a small tom kit across the den "I'm Nightkit! This is my sister, Breezekit!" He meowed. Flameear rested her paw onto Spottedkit. "Don't." she hissed at her kit. Spottedkit sighed and fell back asleep, she and her sister were born three moons ago, but Ivystar didn't have the time to see them. "Ow!" Nightkit broke the... almost quiet, Flowerkit bit his tail. "Sorry!" she mewed and curled up to him, her golden ear touching his bitten tail. "You four need to sleep, now. It's Paranoidkit's apprentice ceremony tomorrow." Ivystar hissed while passing the den. The moon was standing half-way up, and the stars started to emerge and shine, Flowerkit fell asleep as a calm breeze passed
