you have no idea how emotionally wrecked i am to have played a completely different ending to this game two years after i thought i was content with Cove's Step 4 epilogue. i am in tears, happy tears, and experiencing the bittersweet feeling that my dream man is a two-dimensional skunk that will forever live in this world.
i love the depth and care that went into his character, and no amount of Cove-ness could sway me from my mission to wholeheartedly love Baxter the way i did throughout Step 3 and his epilogue. the way i was cheering, booing, gasping, and protesting against all of it, really reminds me that GB always has a way of capturing their audience's attention, moving them with such rich stories, and just overall giving us little pieces of a life we can always go back to.
so, from a long-time fan, thank you so much for not only this DLC and the care that went into it but the entire game as a whole. 💛
