Interesting concept for sure, I'm really not very good at platformers and with grappling hooks in general (you'd think growing up with 8 arms and 2 tentacles would make me a natural with grappling hooks, but for some reason I've never been able to take advantage of that), so I struggled to get positive outcomes. I do wish the timer was a little more apparent, and that there would be some sort of unmissable warning as you're getting low on time. I did sort of figure it out 4 tries, but ultimately that problem likely rests more on me than it does your game design.
I couldn't figure out what the point of the different colored foxes were, not sure if I just missed something or if it's not readily apparent, but I ended up not using that feature since I couldn't figure out what it was doing.
Despite my apparent complaining, I actually thought this was rather well done, I imagine this would be a lot of fun for folks that like platormers, and I feel like there's a lot of potential with this sort of game loop. I think the message came across pretty well in the dialogue, but was sort of lost in the gameplay, but that really only matters specifically for this jam. Overall, well done... Oh, and I love the CRT effect!
