bruh!

this was a sweet game! i think it would've hit me hard if i were just learning how to self inject, getting the virtual simulation of a group of friends talking the chair/the player through the experience is lovely, and really realistic to the way that group chats operate—it's clear it was made with a lot of love and affection and i'm glad that it was made and shared!

i'm going to put any criticism i have under a line, because itch.io doesn't offer spoiler options and i don't want to harsh the vibe! again, i enjoyed this game and i'm glad it exists!

when i was playing (mac os) there was a delay in the chat, so that often chair would be responding to things the buddies in the chat said before the messages appeared, or sometimes at the exact time the messages appeared, which funnily enough simulated the experience of having a bad internet connection in a group chat, where everyone else is in the loop except you/the player.

for a minute, because of that, i didn't identify myself as/with chair (because chair seemed to be responding to questions and messages before i could see they'd been sent) but instead assumed i was supposed to be identifying with cowboy (no idea. the different icon, maybe?) this kind of identity/perspective confusion made it hard/frustrating to try immerse myself in the game for a while.

but—that's just a small technical thing that had an interesting effect on my experience. again: overall, a really sweet concept with good execution!
