The Yuri Game Jam is a 2 month game jam taking place from October 1st to December 2nd, with the intention of creating more games about relationships between women.
Jam rules:
- Your project must focus on queer relationships between women or the queer female experience. Any identities are permitted as long as you personally feel like it is part of the queer female experience. This is an inclusive jam and anyone can join.
- While uncomfortable subjects or NSFW themes can freely be explored, please use appropriate content warnings. Entries that promote bigotry (i.e. transphobia/racism) are not allowed.
- This is called the "Yuri Game Jam" for reasons of tradition, but any form of media is allowed to be submitted.
- This jam is not a contest, the deadline for the submissions is a means to encourage devs to put stuff out there.
- You can start early if you want.
- You can pick up old unfinished projects to work on.
- Demos and unfinished submissions are fine.
Please join the discord server to collaborate with other devs and share your progress. This is a beginner-friendly jam and new devs are welcome. Asking for advice in the discord is heavily encouraged.
