This demo demonstrates the creators strong writing, and is a great introduction to the world and character we will be exploring in the future. The kink explored is generally healthy (despite the yandere theme), with clear, mature writing that made an enjoyable read and made me giggle a few times. The game genre is interactive fiction, featuring only text without visuals, music or voice acting.
Below I will review the Trigger Warnings, pros, cons, bugs, accessibility features, recommended audience and suggestions for the future.
TW: Mild legal drug use and casual sex. All other TWs are clearly listed on the store page, which allows players to assess psychological accessibility of the game.
Pros:
Quality writing, ethical kink depiction, queer friendly, player pronoun/gender flexibility, sans font option, Ren'Py accessibility features, skip and multi-save features.
Cons:
Built-in accessibility tools are not clearly labelled in the menu or game.
Bugs:
A few minor typos and missing speech marks at times.
Accessibility:
+ There are clear Trigger Warnings listed, which allows players to check suitability prior to playing.
+ A save option that works at any point (including mid-dialogue) but only 4 slots.
+The menu provides 2 font options: 'Alice' and 'DejaVuSans'. The latter is dyslexia friendly with consistent thickness in letter strokes.
~ The game has a dark background which is good for light sensitive players.
+ Text for dialogue choices is differentiated with a mid-grey colour against the black background. The text has good contrast meeting WCAG AA guidelines for small text and WCAG AAA for larger text.
~ However, the serif font has thinner strokes which reduces readability, to what I would argue is the equivalent of 'small text' (WCAG AA).
+ There are two skip settings in the menu, allowing players to skip previously read text or choices, which reduces fatigue and repeated clicking.
+ There is a text speed control (automatically on max).
+ Self-voicing (screen reader tool) is a built-in tool which can be turned on or off b pressing V.
+ Additionally, pressing S will screenshot, and H will hide the text.
Recommendations for players:
+ This game is accessible for D/deaf players and blind/low vision players due to no non-essential sound and the self-voicing feature respectively.
+ This game requires minimal dexterity with single-point activation (mouse or controller), and skip options, supporting players with fatigue and dexterity limitations.
* Those with low vision or visual print blindness (i.e., Dyslexia) will benefit from the DejaVuSans font, which has a consistent thickness and legibility meeting the WCAG AAA contrast rating.
+ This game is recommended for adults who are comfortable with yandere and light BDSM content, although the demo has negligible yandere elements.
Suggestions for Dev:
* Building on your clear Trigger Warning list, I would advise listing the accessibility features available, such as self-voicing, in the store page.
* As a Ren'Py game, there are valuable built-in accessibility tools. It is recommended this is clearly labelled in the menu to benefit visually impaired or otherwise print blind players (e.g. those with dyslexia, eye strain, fatigue, memory difficulties).
Note: My reviews are for accessibility awareness and growth.
The art style and the just the short insight of the characters from the demo is just so amazing, I fear I don't have the right words to express the depth of my amazement for Chromatic Agape. I don't have any dislikes for this project. But what I do know is I look forward for the full game!

Dakota's literary interpretation was a good way of showcasing his unsettling worldviews. Trying to hide from him scene legit felt anxious, dude is scary ( ;´ - `;)
P.S. I need a variation of a crazy end (an AU?) but with yandere x yandere, a more unhinged MC would be so good.
I loved this game. Tragic yet sweet in a way! I feel like the describing could be better but considering how this is the first game you made, it's great!! I love kai <3
