Please explain why your team qualifies for the category you chose.
Our experience has almost no previous experience. We have a level designer with a few months of experience, a programmer with experience in developing microservices that recently learned how to program with C# and Unity, a narrative designer that has experience writting stories, but not many drafts and a web programmer that recently learned hot to use Unity.

How does your game relate to the theme?
Our game uses the idea of charms in two related levels. We have a charmmancer that throws spells, aka charms, to collect and meet new beasts.

Okay, hear me out. I can make feedback for this game, but it might be a bit harsh. If you still want to read, here:


Use better music.

Disable Sprite Smoothing so pixels actually look like pixels.

Use better mechanics/code implementations.

Improve the acceleration, deceleration and jump speed by shortening them.

Make slightly more colorful buttons, these are too dull.

I'm sorry if this is too harsh, but this is in full honesty. Your game can be muuuuuch better. If this is a first try though (or y'all are new to game dev entirely), then it's okay.

Thanks for the feedback. Indeed, I also think that the game can be a lot better, but as you could infire, it was my first title and try into a jam. I would like to improve it and tweek it in the near future, when I'll have more experience.
