This game was originally going to be a Skyrim quest/follower mod where you helped a Dwemer automaton remember who he was, and at the end he would become marriage-eligible because why not? But the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I...didn't actually WANT to learn how to mod Skyrim. But I still had a barebones outline of a robot story set in a fantasy world. When I learned about ViNoWriMo, I decided to participate by fleshing out said fantasy bot story (instead of finishing my personal project).
My goal was 10k words, and I ended up with 14k. I ended up putting more of an emphasis on the relationship between the robot and the human (rather than just a humorous option at the end, as originally imagined). This became a tad bit...sappy, I suppose. But it was cathartic and freeing for a lonely lady like me. I also found myself writing by the seat of my pants for a lot of it, namely the world-building. But I ended up with a really interesting setting, where a magical fantasy world emerged from the ashes of a doomed cyberpunk one. I might have to write more things in this setting...
And yes, there's technically a nude scene. It's censored, it will never BE uncensored, and its only available for folks who score a certain amount of points. And even then, its clearly labeled. So no fussing if you get the scene. That's on you. xD
