Cool Game, Cool Art, I Love The Theme Usage For This Game!

Fire Burn. Water bad. Fire burn stuff. Blue water OP! The hitboxes on that water got me so many times, but it made me patient. The simplicity is charming.

Interesting idea with overall nice controls. Some feedback:

  • Love the way you added a tutorial! Really clever design there!
  • The enemy projectiles kills you too easily, sometimes I'm not sure that I even touched them. So maybe reduce their colliders.
  • The BMG is too loud and can be distracting.

All and all congrats folks!

Rocking soundtrack! Smooth controls. Moving around and setting everything on fire is just as satisfying as it sounds.

Obstacles that have been fully burned should appear as a pile of ashes, if at all. A bulky object in flames still "reads" to the eye as an obstacle that will block the player.

A few simple sound effects would be nice. You can use bfxr or a similar utility to create some 8-bit-style blips and bloops.

Graphically, the game is pretty bare. It would benefit from some interesting environments.

Lastly, the instant respawn is good in that it doesn't waste the player's time, but it's actually so fast that the first couple of times, I just thought I had been teleported!

Thanks for your feedback also I forgot how to do sound effects but I would have added them if I knew how

Sometimes you would die a bit unexpectedly, but other than that it was a interesting game.

I don't like that either, but the code did not work as indented but I tried to fix it
