Did you create the tileset/artwork yourself? Just curious.

On my computer, the character speed is so high that one button press launches the character off the screen and crashes the game lol. Perhaps you forgot to multipy speed by Time.deltatime for position?

Whoops! You're completely right. I'm relatively new to Unity and it completely slipped my mind to use Time.deltatime when updating the player's position.
