Congrats on your submission! Admittedly making a tactical turn-based RPG in one week is a challenge in and by itself! Also, is it normal that spamming click on the characters actually kills them? Is that intentional?

This game had a ton of elements and it was hard to take it all in and understand what exactly was happening. But the idea of it all seems really nice. I think focusing on a couple of characters and making their battle systems really clean would go a long way in making this a great game. Then you can build on other characters later. Really great start to a fun a game, though!

Yeah I get that, the game definitely would have benefitted from a more limited scope, it just got out of hand very quickly. But I'm glad you liked the concept! Perhaps we'll keep updating the game to add a bit more polish at some point.

Woah! Crazy ambitious with the abundance of elements in the game. You've got the different characters, the different enemies, the UI, the different levels, and the art. Can't believe this was made in just 9 days. Only thing I will say is that the art tends to differ greatly. The stone tiles have many different colors and anti-aliasing, while the giant vault had a larger pixel size and only had simple shading. Maybe sticking to one color palette would also help in a way to make the art complement better. Other than that, this game is seriously impressive. It really gives me Runescape vibes. I can't imagine the amount of work that went into this. You should be VERY proud with this. I hope you continue making these types of games and joining these game jams!

Thank you so much, that means a lot! We did get very ambitious and as a result the game is (very) buggy and uses a mix of custom made and external art, but we had a lot of fun making it. We definitely will participate in future jams, and we learned a lot from this experience to make our next project more polished. Appreciate the feedback!

I gotta say, the absurd humor was really fun. The gameplay was pretty scuffed (with no wall boundaries or anything stopping you from just outright skipping everything), but all the basics were there. Such a game is really hard to pull off in a jam and it's a great submission.

10/10 would end the bourgeoise again.

I'm glad you enjoyed it as much as we did! My friends and I had the idea while bantering, and we loved how absurd it got. So many more jokes were planned but sadly didn't make it in. Long live the revolution!
