  • Classic "explore the tomb" game, I would have appreciated some introduction to help get into the right mood at the beginning. Some puzzles seem to me to be based on random attempts, I maybe would have liked to have more clues about them.
  • An interesting game, but a little buggy in places and a little on the unfair side - I got killed fairly often by the falling spikes until I found some hints, and I still can't figure out how to find the Khopesh. Some better signposting might help, or a few hints here and there.
  • Nice colour scheme to get you in the mood - immediate gratification from some puzzles after solving the simple entry puzzle to get you into the game. I think I will have to come back to this one as as with others I think I only just got under way in the allocated time.
  • I'm a big fan of the Indiana Jones-style archaeological theme! The puzzles (such as reading the hieorglyphics and pushing the tiles) work well with the theme. The colour of the screen and the font choice are perfect for the atmosphere of the game. The spike puzzle is a bit unforgiving, as you can get into a situation where no matter which way you'll run it's a spiky death; otherwise, this is a great entry!
  • A background story and documentation would have been helpful, I also missed a startup screen. All this is not mandatory but it's adding a lot to the atmosphere and suggests a more polished experience.

Hello,

Thank you for your submission to the jam

If possible can you edit your game page, and follow the steps highlighted here (see steps 9 onwards).

https://itch.io/jam/cavejam/topic/543846/tutorial-uploading-your-adventuron-game...

These steps will make it possible to play the game on desktop and mobile from the itch site directly, without downloading.

I really like your colour scheme, it's very unique.
