Ranked from 5 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.
How did you incorporate the prompts?
Roguelike: The maze is procedurally generated and different on every playthrough, making sure the path to completion is always valid and around the same length.
Magic: The creatures can cast magic spells (or well, just one because we ran out of time)
A pinch of ...: We imagined for our game to be revolved around crafting tools, structures and weapons. But for them to work to rely on the extraction of magic from the little "bugs" (hence, a pinch of, because the bugs are small). We ended up only having time to make one weapon though, bug on stick.
How do you feel about the game you made?
We scope creeped a bit to much and had to scrap a lot of our ideas last minute. But it ended up playable which is nice. And we are now one sick inventory system richer for future projects.
What can we improve for the next jam?
As some have pointed out, perhaps making all three themes mandatory? But that would just be personal preference. Other than that, it was a really good jam!

I liked that the inventory was physics based. I had a good laugh when I crafted a bug on a stick. I liked the touch that an interesting font was used in the instructions when mentioning the bugs, and it made them feel even funnier. The maze felt a little big for the amount of content that the game had, I think I would have preferred that it had been slightly smaller.
Rabbits are cute, and they’re just as cute as sceptres, haha… The crafting mechanism is cool, especially when there’s physics involved in the inventory :D The minimap is very useful, it’s a good entry, congratulations.
