I think you didn't get a lot of players because you didn't set up your itch page... The games first impression is your thumbnail and the itch page. You can edit the page even after the submissions are closed, so there's nothing to stop you from it...

The game was alright. the text at the start was a bit hard to read.

Why am I the first comment? This is a great little game! I love the music and the gameplay is nice. Will say I did not know what to do after getting the duck so maybe its a little confusing what to do but apart from that great game!
