Leaving this here so it is more visible:
To do damage to your opponent you must attack them with the opposite attack colour than the colour state they are in e.g: Attack with red punches if your opponent is in the blue state.

Punches are Red and will put the player in the red state and Kicks are Blue and will put the player in the Blue state.

The colour of your projectile will be whatever colour state you are in e.g: If you are red you will shoot red projectiles.

I like the 3D models and how they fit into the envioment, but the controls are a bit too floaty and the attacks dont feel like they have any weight

Thank you for the feedback, we would have liked to add some effects or a stun mechanic in the game from being hit, however due to time constraints we couldn't achieve more than the essentials of the game concept. I think your point about the controls feeling floaty is fair too, perhaps we should have adjusted the falling speed of the player and tweaked the movement some more.

Sounds and music are GREAT! Good job on this. Although, it was hard trying to figure out how to actually damage the other player? As the attacks were delayed.

EDIT: Nvm! Read the  below comment just now. Will give it another try <3

I'm leaving this here although it is in the description too as its very important:

Punches are Red and will put the player in the red state and Kicks are Blue and will put the player in the Blue state.

The actions such as punching and kicking can be fairly unresponsive and don't always have an affect. The art however is very good. It reminds me of Borderlands in some way.

Thanks for the feedback we wrote this in the description: you can only do damage to a player if you are the opposite colour to them. E.g. red punches can only damage blue characters. So if the attacks were not having an effect that's likely why. The idea is to switch your colour by using the punch and kick to hit your opponents weakness. The energy shot will be whatever colour the player is. Sorry if that wasn't made clear.
