Crisp controls, really great variety in the levels and backgrounds. gotta love bounce platforms! great job

Nice level and music progression. The leitmotif was great, and the instrumentation kept evolving. I think this is my favorite music of the entire jam so far :)


I don't quite know if collecting more of the hourglasses would later give you more time to escape, but I assume that'd be the case. Not sure if all of them are actually collectible (I couldn't grab the one to the bottom left of the "GOTTEM" pit, it was too high up, and I didn't see any box or so to jump up)

Nice sprites, loved the different area designs :) There's a minor bug in the char animation though: when walking right, there's some pixel from another part of the spritesheet bleeding in.

This game feels bigger than metroid lol. I like the style. If the jam was longer I would have liked to see a minimap cuz I felt lost. But fun platforming and I really dig the look of the main character!

i like the idea behind this game a lot. the player is encouraged to explore the levels as much as possible so they can gain enough of an advantage to finish the game in time. it's a really neat concept!

the timed backtracking element was a nice addition, but it could have been more interesting. maybe the environment could have been changed slightly to offer more difficult platforming or enemies could spawn? idk, just ideas.

the music was intense asf, very fitting. i loved it lol.

overall, a very solid game. a lot of effort was obviously put into it. great work!
