for those struggling with the controls you can also use LMB to grab/throw the pot!
Really interactive and forces the player to take note of the pots status. Timing is also important as well as aim. the physics of all the controls are well suited for each and don't feel mismatched. All in all love the concept great take on the theme and I enjoyed playing this a lot.
It is a challenging game. But the selection of the keys made it more harder to play. I accidently keep hitting the respawn button when I try to grab the pot and the wsad button feels too close to the action button. if the arrow keys are used, it could be more comfortable.
I find using the mouse button makes most sense also had a hard time in the beginning but once you use left click the pace of the game is nice
you can also use left mouse button but i can try to make that more obvious, thanks for the feedback
Accessibility mode please :'(
The theme is incorporated fantastically, but yeah, the difficulty of pixel-perfect jumps and split-second key presses finally broke me on lvl 7.
I love that the character looks like a fish with legs, and good job with making your own art! It's a good aesthetic!
Very fun idea, nice job! I think the double jump idea is especially nice and the layout of each level is very well designed. Some of those jumps and throws are pretty tricky, but so satisfying to get.
I think it's a little more difficult than it needs to be just because of the hitboxes. I think they could be a little more generous, because it felt like I would go to catch, but because the pot was just a little below my head, I'd lose it. I think making it so the catch box also encompasses part of your body would be nice. And maybe the the break collision box is a little more forgiving?
Nice work, I really dig the aesthetic too!
The game is pretty fun but on level seven, the keybindings make it practically impossible to finish. It would make more sense to bind throw/pickup to LMB so your left hand can focus on movement while the right hand focuses on throwing and catching.
I changed it so you can throw and grab the pot with LMB, it feels much better. Thanks for the advice :)
