Nice work! This actually got me to wheeze once or twice, I thought the death texts were funny. Feedback:

• The distance you have to move is often quite uneven
• Player movement is kind of stiff. Adding some smoothing would make it way better, check on GMTK's video on celeste for some pretty good info.
