I *loved* the art! And the story and different endings were quite interesting too! Poor Bradley lol

Halloweenyness: Does the story take place on the 31st of October? It doesn’t say. But summoning a demon does seem like the kind of thing some people would do to celebrate Halloween, so I guess it fits.

Scariness: The story is scary, although some of the other VNs from this jam seemed more scary (and mine seemed less scary, so I guess I shouldn’t go too hard on this category).

Monsterousness: Was there a lot of text to read and a lot of choice combinations to try in order to see everything? Not really, but there were some choices, and I feel like going through all the possibilities of a monsterous (massive) VN would be kinda time-consuming, so I appreciate that I could get through this one more or less quickly. Oh… maybe “monsterous!” is actually a renamed audio category. In which case I guess I should mention that I liked the music. And I didn’t spot any sound effects (even though there were some obvious places to put them such as the moment the demon appears) and there doesn’t seem to be any VA. (If you had had all three things, I’d also have considered how well they worked together). I will say that having lyrics on the ending music and different songs for different endings does seem like a pretty good idea.

Candy!! Someone does eat pizza, so I guess maybe that counts as candy? Or maybe this is actually a renamed visuals category (eye candy). Well, I think the art is pretty good, although at some point when there was one character on the left and one on the right I got unsure who was who.

Fun: There’s not a lot of comedy in this VN, but it was still interesting to read, and “fun” doesn’t necessarily mean comedy, so I guess it was fun.

But yeah, I have no clue what the categories are meant to mean. I think I liked the story with the surprise that surprises the characters and the way there’s poetry thrown in. And the art and music work well with the caveats that it could have worked better if there’d been sound effects or some sort of highlighting of who was speaking (two things that I didn’t get right myself, by the way).
