Played 4 times to get the 3 endings. I didn't get the 3rd ending on my third playthrough so I thought, fuck it, I will just read about it or watch it elsewhere. Somehow, I felt compelled by Lee to achieve on my on, and I was actually quite eager to see if there was any more dialogue from Albert that I could have missed.
Well played, I wanted to pull out but the game pulled me in anyways. I felt like that was the point where I decided to give this five stars. I am usually more lenient on itch.io and indie projects as a whole, but, mistake this not, for as a small experience this is totally a five out of five. Albert is great, he is handsome, and very charismatic. I didn't find the writing boring, on the contrary, I was quite excited to read more of what this gentleman had to say. Of course, he wouldn't have shined as much as he did, and by extension, the whole game, without the existance of Taylor. They were, in a word, human. Their lines, the delivery. And it all mixes into such lovely writing. Their interactions were magnificent.
Itch.io score: 5/5
Judged as a "full game": 9/10
You offer an experience, and you deliver. Well done.
Everything about this game is superb from top to bottom. The art is animated smoothly. The music direction is on point. I thought traditional suspense wasn't possible in a medium so completely given to the player pacing, but this game proved me wrong.
Love the style, great execution!
