For me it went well. I made a game where you speedrun through the same level 3 times but each time you unlock a new ability. After you beat the level 3 times you can submit your time to the leaderboard. Speed Shot by silasmathguy I would like if you showed me your games so I could try them.

It went pretty good, I was running out of game ideas and needed something for my porfolio. I totally forgot to incorperate the AI thing they were advertising so there's no chance of prize money for me sadly, but honestly I could see myself using that tool for future games, since it seems like it's basically ChatGPT but has full context of how your game is supposed to work. I made Stuck in the Loop, a simple platformer.

I did not use it either, I don't use
Unity.

I wonder who did end up using it

I was literally eating pizza when the theme got announced, and I looked down at it and had a moment of inspiration for what I wanted my game to be. I did use the AI tool to handle 99% of the programming because I was curious how well it would do. I now think AI is better as a supplement than the sole programmer. With how much it messed up, I still had to rely on normal programming knowledge to fix a lot of it. And because I didn’t write the code, it made diagnosing problems way harder. Overall this was a very enlightening experience.
