hey! Hope I'm ment to put this here, but am I allowed to make a ttrpg / board or card game for this?

Thank you!

Sure, it’s meant to ask questions here.

We decided to allow only digital games.

So if you implement your tt/board/card game as playable video game, we are fine with it.

Otherwise it would be harder for you to score the visuals/sound criteria anyway. If your intent is to create an analog game, we must say sorry to you.

I just learnt how I could make it digital! So I will join in! Thank you so much!

That’s great to hear.

We are excited about your game :)

Can we submit a demo version of our project as the official submission?

Jam HostSubmitted

If you mean your D-09 project, that’s not possible, sry.

We have defined in the rules that the game must be made during the jam.

No, I meant for the game jam project. That one isn’t for the game jam, it’s a personal project.

Submitting a demo or prototype is ok, as long as it’s done during the game jam. We want you to make the main part of your game during the jam.

If you have worked on your project for longer before the jam, say weeks or months, than it’s not possible.

Thanks for the quick responses.

Regarding horror, is the restriction only about gore scenes, or do you not recommend any kind of horror at all?

Why am I asking  now?   Because we joined the game jam late, and I wanted to check if it’s still possible to deliver something.

Horror isn’t a problem, we just don’t want the game to be awful brutal or gore’ish.
