  • The retro style works very well with the interactive novel style game. The game incorporated senses besides graphics and sound, like heat, smell and emotions and used them very effectively. It's a very engaging story. The game play is simple, but using temperature as a critical part of the play adds a new layer to the interaction and was a unique interpretation of the them of the jam. It was a bit frustrating in some parts, and I saw one scene had a minor glitch, but the story was interesting enough for me to try again and see other endings.
  • The minigame concept of "body heat" management while not able to see in a strange room, is very well done. And the multi-ending story is interesting. There are a few dialog options that don't quite sync up, but this was worth playing, and re-playing!
  • This game is truly a work of interactive art. The emotions and sensory stimulation that come across in this game are fantastic, and and I found the integration of the theme very engaging and unique. While I wouldn't call this game "fun" exactly, it was engaging and the gameplay held my attention through to the end. Well done.
  • This game had the deepest impact on me. The story was compelling and drew me in. The gameplay of making choices for how too cool off but also learn more about yourself and the story really accomplished the task of suspense. My choices led me to realize more about what I was trying to accomplish. By the end of this game I had a palpable feeling of sadness and relief and had tears just hanging out waiting. You did amazing work with the storytelling element and on using a unique way to share this story. I will urge others to play this game, to explore grief. Great work!
  • I think this was the best story game for this jam--a lot of thought went into making an emotional connection with the game, so nicely done. The gameplay is "see all the places" and I thought it was a good decision to let the player try as long as they wanted. The gameplay has limited replay value once the player has experienced the whole story.

Hey congrats on the win. I enjoyed playing yours and knew you'd either win or come second behind me (biased!). Will try and make it to the next one :)
